My Sedu reviews - Please send me your sedu review too.
You're
just about to buy one of the new Sedu
hair irons but still unsure. Let me put your mind at rest with my
sedu reviews section. The flat iron that guarantees smooth
straightening motion without pulling, snagging or breaking of hair (my
main concern!). They can be bought in either 1" or 1.5" version
depending on the length of your hair. I've done my sedu review below and
I'd also love to hear all your sedu reviews too, good or bad and I'll
post your sedu review in my new review section.
Most sedu reviews are from peope who have only tried this one and no others.
However I'm a bit fussy when it comes to hair
straighteners and believe me I've tried them all, good and bad. Here's
my sedu review:
Sedu hair irons review:
Firstly it's important to remember that I have thick coarse
hair.
I bought the Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Flat Iron
(1.5" USA version) about 3 months ago
and couldn't wait to get it home and out of the box. First thing that
struck me was the neat feature on the power chord. It's designed to be
non-twist so no matter how you move the iron the cable will always stay
straight. I've seen this before but the Sedu has one made of much higher
quality so you just know it's gonna last. Other sedu reviews from owners
who have used one for 18 months also showed how well made it is.
(NOTE: If you are from UK or Europe you will need to
buy the right model)
I couldn't wait to try it out so I washed my hair, normally I use Redken
Smooth Down shampoo and Redken Smooth Down Conditioner or Butter. I also
applied a little Biosilk Silk Therapy before using the iron as it helps
to give my hair a gorgeous shine. If this is the first time to try a straightener
just pick up a pre-treatment at any hair products store or online at Folica. You will
also find sedu reviews for their other products on my site very soon.
I then switched on the Sedu
and couldn't believe it was ready in around 30 seconds, as some of the
other irons I have used take a few minutes. Anyway, I then ran the iron
over my hair once and couldn't believe that in just one run it gave me
great results so all my hair was done in about 30 minutes, half the time
I normally have to spend on my hair. Wowwww! My hair looked better than
ever before and that first night I had to show it off to all my girlfriends
who were convinced I'd just been to the salon.

A few other things I would recommend is that like with most flat irons
you should play around with the temperature to get it right for your hair
type. Here's some guidleines based on what I and my friends have found
best:
- Fragile, bleached, find hair: Use a lower temperature setting
- Normal hair: Use the mid temperature settings
- Thick, coarse, ethic hair: Use the higher temperature settings
The bottom line is that this is a well made, reliable, and quality product.
If you think that paying over $100 is too expensive then I'd ask you to
re-think as in the time you've bought and broke a few of the cheaper models,
which can also damage your hair, you can have one that will last years
and give better results than you've experienced with any other iron. Take
it from me, buy the Sedu flat iron today, it rocks!
